Price range: $10.00 through $3,000.00
In communities like ours, it’s often the small, creative sparks that create the biggest sense of belonging. Over the past few years, Murals on Main has helped transform downtown Rogers City into an open-air gallery by turning blank walls into vibrant works of art that celebrate imagination, place, and the stories that make our town special.
Murals on Main is more than a festival. It’s a community-powered placemaking effort that brings artists, residents, students, families, and visitors together for a week of painting, connection, and shared pride. The murals created during the festival remain year-round, becoming lasting landmarks that brighten our streets, invite exploration, and contribute to a stronger, more welcoming downtown.
This project only happens because of local support.
This year, there is an exciting opportunity to make local support go even further. Murals on Main is participating in a Patronicity crowdfunding campaign through the Michigan Economic Development Corporation’s Public Spaces Community Places program. Eligible donations made through the Patronicity campaign platform can be matched, helping every contribution have an even greater impact on the future of public art and placemaking in Rogers City.
When you make a gift to Murals on Main, you are helping to:
- Bring professional artists to Rogers City
- Provide supplies and materials for mural creation
- Support a community mural that residents can help paint
- Create free, family-friendly events and activities during the festival
- Invest in long-term beauty, vitality, and economic energy for our downtown
Whether you can give $25, $50, $100, or more, your contribution is a direct investment in creativity, community pride, and the future of Rogers City.
We hope you’ll consider joining your neighbors in supporting this year’s Murals on Main. Together, we can continue building a downtown that reflects the heart, resilience, and creative spirit of this community.
With gratitude,
Murals on Main Planning Team
