Rogers City MS-DDA Façade Grant Program 2026 re-opening.
The Rogers City Main Street Downtown Development Authority is pleased to announce the re-opening of the 2026 Façade Grant Program. This initiative provides financial assistance through reimbursement grants to property owners and lessees seeking to perform high quality exterior improvements on commercial and mixed use buildings. By participating in this program, local businesses contribute to the preservation of the architectural character of Rogers City while enhancing the overall economic vitality and aesthetic appeal of the downtown district.
Investment in storefront aesthetics is a proven method for increasing foot traffic and improving property values. This grant offers a fifty percent match for projects, providing up to two thousand dollars in funding per project. The MS DDA prioritizes applications that address blight, focus on historic restoration, or involve prominent corner lots within the Main Street District.
Applications are available now and must be submitted by the deadline of Friday, November 13th. Please note that a pre application meeting or a letter of intent describing the project scope is a mandatory first step. All work must receive formal approval before construction begins to remain eligible for reimbursement. Interested parties are encouraged to contact the MS DDA Executive Director at rcmainstreet@rogerscity.com or visit the office at 124 S Third Street to discuss their project vision and secure the necessary application materials.
